Albertsons Elko NV Remodel

The Elko Albertsons location is a late 1970's store, expanded in the mid 1990's into a former Sprouse Reiz space, at which point it received the blue gray interior photographed below (those photos were taken in 2008). The store seemed to slip under the radar for a long time as surrounding market exits took place like Reno and Salt Lake City, but was finally remodeled in summer 2014 into the current interior. The remodel contained a new floor throughout the store and even though the remodeled store looks kind of plain, it was a complete job with new flooring, new tiles in departments, etc. The only capital this store received from the late 1990's to 2014 was the installation of self checkouts (which were removed in the 2014 remodel).
